How you earn
Points come from two things only: posting vibes and bookings you check in for.
Vibe posts
- Text vibe: 15 points
- Photo vibe: 25 points
- Video vibe: 40 points (a video starts as a text post, so you get the extra 25 when the video is ready)
- You post from the venue while it is open. You can post at one venue every 15 minutes.
- Posts you make as venue staff, while on shift at your own venue, do not earn points.
- Public posts add to your total right away. Anonymous and friends-only posts earn too, but their points are added once a day so nobody can tell they were yours.
Bookings
- You see pending points when you book. They become yours when you check in at the venue.
- Checked-in booking: 30 points
- First time at that venue: 20 more points
- Paid table (after it is paid): 20 more points
- Both your email and your phone number must be verified.
- Limits: up to 3 booking rewards in any 24 hours, and 1 per venue in any 24 hours.
- Bookings made for you by venue staff or owners do not earn. Bookings made through a venue's public booking link without an account do not earn.
- Venue owners and staff do not earn booking points at their own venues.
When points are taken back
- If you cancel, don't show up, or the booking expires, its pending points are removed.
- If a booking is marked a no-show after you checked in, the points from it are taken back.
What does not earn points
Check-ins on their own, follows, pokes, votes, likes and vibe requests do not earn points.
When you see your points
- You see your own points, including ones waiting to be added, in your account.
- Totals other people see (your profile, leaderboards) are updated once a day, early in the morning Central time. Points you earn after midnight Central wait for the next day's update.
Levels
You gain a level every 500 points, up to level 20. Ranks: New Scout (level 1), Night Owl (2), Rising Scout (3), Scene Regular (5), Vibe Master (7), Elite Scout (10), Nightlife Architect (15), and your city's Legend (20).
Good to know
- Points have no cash value, can't be bought or transferred, and can be taken away if you break the Terms.
- We can change these rules. Fake bookings or extra accounts used to collect points may lead to points being removed or the account being suspended.
- On October 31, 2026 we corrected points that came from activities that no longer earn points. Affected members were notified in the app.
